Where is this going?
In the recent days I was asked a couple of times why we decided to make Altitude0 game and naturally when is the expected release date.
Those of you who read my previous posts already know there are 2 of us currently working on this game and it doesn't look like a small project either. Question pops up how we plan to finish it since human resources in our case are let's say - extremely limited
.
My first reply to those who doubt is we did come this far, didn't we. To get the game to this point, it took a lot of dedication and hard work. Also a lot of code and graphics can be traced back to some other dead and frozen projects (Ouch!).

But more importantly, we don't plan to make it much bigger before releasing it either. That would be one of the lessons we have learned.
The idea is to grow the game as we go. Game will be an online flying game and currently we are working on a first playable demo version.
It will include 2 tracks and encourage players to share their achievements, mainly best race times with each other via our website. We will also support replay download so that players can race against the ghost planes of those from the top of list.
Later on, new tracks & airplanes will be added. We also plan to encourage players to eventually create their own race tracks and more experienced users may even want to create their own terrains.
Where is the end line? I guess it depends on how the game is received by players.
If it gains enough players it will grow and be improved to suit the gamers. But if not, then so be it.
Until then, 2 of us promise to give our best to create playable & fun Altitude0 demo version in a shortest time possible and then let you guys decide whether it's worth going on.
Thanks for reading this,
DareM.
